About Bonchurch

Bonchurch is one of the oldest settlements on the Island and nestles below the stunning St. Boniface Down, the highest point on the Island. The village has a pond full of ducks and fish (not for fishing) and a cafe is opposite. A ten minute walk from Pitts Keep through lovely, varied scenery brings you to Monks Bay, a safe shingle/sand beach with rockpools where the kids can splash and search for crabs. To the west of Bonchurch is Ventnor and Steephill Cove, to the east Shanklin, all great places to wine and dine.
